If you’ve never been to Charlevoix or northern Michigan, you’re in for a real treat. No only will you see some of the most beautiful shorelines and water ways, you will experience the amazing food and drinks of the area. White fish, sweet cherries, morel mushrooms, apples, peaches, Michigan made potato chips, Fudge and more. There’s a winery at almost every corner as well as the popular craft beer breweries.
The area surrounding Charlevoix is full history and beauty. Bring your bike to ride the trails. Put on your hiking shoes to climb the famous sand dunes. Tour the local sights of Charlevoix – the Earl Young mushroom houses are all over the town. Take a guided tour or just walk the streets and explore. Visit historical the sites in every town but don’t forget about Mackinaw Island.

Where to park? There’s plenty of parking around the town especially the morning of the event. Here’s the city map. The City of Charlevoix will not ticket cars parked on the streets with parking meters until after 12:01 PM on race day. Plan accordingly. There’s plenty of FREE parking in the lots
