Marathon and Half Marathon Course Info
The Half and Full Marathons are out and back courses beginning at the corner of E Dixon and Michigan Avenue, one block north of the bridge. Both events will run on the same course . Start and finish is in downtown Charlevoix.
Both the full and the half are USATF certified courses. The Full is a Boston qualifying course.
The finish line will come down at 1:00PM. If you can not finish in that length of time, you will need to move to the sidewalk. Everyone finishing by 1:00 PM will receive their times immediately. Those finishing after 1:00 PM will submit their times to support@rftiming.com

Absolutely NO strollers, roller blades, pets, wagons or other wheeled vehicles on the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K courses. Strollers ONLY are permitted on the 5K course.

USATF has changed it’s ruling to allow ear buds/head phones. If you are wearing a listening device, please be aware of your surroundings.

There are 9 well stocked aid stations on the course. Water, Gatorade, Gu, pickle juice, pickles at three stations, licorice, and first aid kits.

There will be a misting station at the 10K Turn. You can’t miss it!

There will be pacers for the Marathon and Half Marathon. Pace times are posted on the PACER page of this website.
Full road closures in the downtown area of Charlevoix for the start of the marathon and half marathon. Plus additional key roads in the residential areas.
