Packet Pickup

Located in DeWitt Parking Lot at 106 Park Ave downtown Charlevoix. In the Packet Pick up Tent. Rain or Shine.

All bibs are organized by your last name. You may pick up for family and friends. You will get a bib, shirt and goodies if we have some.

June 18, 1 – 8pm

June 19, 5 – 8am

We’ll be happy to exchange your shirt for another size after everyone has picked up their packets.

Parking

There is no free metered parking this year. Feed the meter or you will get a ticket — we promise.

The side streets have non-metered spots. There's a parking lot on Mason and another on Clinton west of Bridge Street. If you're coming from the north side of Charlevoix, we recommend that you park north of the bridge.

Plan to arrive at least 45 minutes before your start to find a spot and walk to Park Avenue.

Bib placement

Pin your bib on the front, outside, below your chest. Not on your back, not under a jacket — timing and photos depend on it.

No bag drop

We don't run a bag check. Leave valuables in your car or with a friend at the finish.

Pacers

There will not be pacers for the 2027 race.

Spectators

Want to watch your athlete while on the course? There are several areas where you'll have the best viewing:

  • Along Park Ave on the walking path
  • Corner of Grant and Park Ave — get there early and park at Michigan Beach
  • Along Lake Michigan at Boulder Park
  • Carpenter and State Street
  • On US-31 there are several places to park and watch them go by the biggest Cherry Pie in the world
  • At the Charlevoix Airport
  • The best spot is at Fisherman's Island if they are running the half or full

Please do not walk or stand on private property. No parking is permitted on Park Ave between Bridge Street and Antrim St.

We know you want to see your athlete take off and come in through the finish line. For the safety of all 2,300 runners, we ask that you do not enter the start/finish line area. We will have barricades along Park Ave — all spectators must stay behind the barricades.

There will be photographers capturing that special moment for you — FREE.

Post-race food

Available to registered athletes only. Please don't take food for your family. It's meant to be for the athletes. There's plenty of restaurants nearby for the family.

Race-morning food

Harwood Gold opens at 5:00 AM, two blocks from the start. Coffee, pastries, real people behind the counter.

Race Refund Promotion

You are covered. Teak Race Refund coverage is now included with your registration.

Weather & cancellation

The race goes on rain or shine. In the rare event of severe weather requiring cancellation, decisions are posted on our social channels and emailed to registered athletes. No refunds in the event of cancellation due to weather or force majeure.
